What size box does a perfume bottle need?
It depends on the bottle shape. As a guide, a 50 ml bottle often fits a box about 2.5 × 2.5 × 5 inches and a 100 ml bottle about 3 × 3 × 6 inches. We measure your bottle with its cap and sprayer and size the box and insert to it.
Should I choose a rigid box or a folding carton for perfume?
Folding cartons suit mass-market and mid-range fragrances and cost less. Rigid boxes with magnetic or lift-off lids suit premium, niche and gift lines where the unboxing matters.
What inserts keep a perfume bottle safe?
EVA foam grips glass firmly and looks premium, card inserts are light and recyclable, and moulded pulp is the plastic-free choice. Each is cut to hold the base and the neck of the bottle.
What has to be printed on a perfume box?
Fragrance is a cosmetic under FDA rules in the US: the outer package carries the product identity, net contents in fl oz and ml, the ingredient list, any warnings and the name and address of the business. Send us the text and barcode and we place them on the base or back panel.
What materials are perfume boxes made from?
Rigid greyboard of about 2 mm wrapped in printed or textured paper, or SBS folding board from 18 to 24 pt.
Which finishes make perfume packaging look luxurious?
Hot foil stamping in gold, silver or rose gold, embossing and debossing, spot UV and soft-touch lamination. Dark colours with metallic foil are the classic combination.
Can you make boxes for sample vials and discovery sets?
Yes. We make boxes with multi-slot inserts for 2 ml vials, 10 ml travel sprays and sets of several bottles.
Can perfume be shipped in these boxes?
The printed box is retail packaging. For shipping, place it in a corrugated outer box, and check your carrier's rules for alcohol-based fragrance, which is classed as a flammable liquid.
Is there a minimum order for custom perfume boxes?
No minimum order. You can order a short run to test a design and reorder the same specification later.
How long do custom perfume boxes take to make and deliver?
Production takes 7–10 business days after you approve the digital proof, and delivery in the USA takes 3–5 business days with free shipping. Rush production is 5 business days.
